This Little Light of Mine

My Uncle Clayborn passed away and we had his funeral visitation earlier this week. Now Clayborn was a big jolly guy (kind of reminded me of Santa Claus), and always seemed to be in a joyful and playful mood. He worked much of  his life in factories in Indiana but spent his later life as a Wal-Mart greeter. Apparently he did a wonderful job at that as well. Even though his passing was sad everyone remembered the good times… the most important thing though was that he was a wonderful Christian. My cousin Terry had a wonderful message… and had an invitation at the end of his sermon and a young man responded to the invitation and was saved. If that isn’t awesome I don’t know what is.

One of his favorite songs was “This Little Light of Mine” – he could just stick his big finger in the air and everyone would know that he was getting ready to sing… so I encourage you if you’re a Christian to let your light shine!!

Have a wonderful day!
